Haviland Limoge porcelain china soup tureen. Quantity 1 Fitted lid with cutout for soup ladle. Gold painted highlights, are on edges of top and two side handles with decorative swirls. Sides have gold trim and a swirl in a cabbage leaf pattern. Appears to be Schleiger 420 or 422 blank, with a backmark used from 1888-1896. Haviland backmark similiar to one used in 1888-96, according to website (http://www.havilandonline.com/backmark.htm) - L.
