Appears to be a deed sharing agreement among descendants for properties owned by Sarah Paschall Morris (d.1842), widow of Isaac Wistar Morris (d.1831) An Indenture on Dec 13th,1843 between Anthony P. Morris, Isaac P. Morris, and Catharine Morris who were executors of the Last Will & Testament of Sarah Morris, 1770-1842 widow of Isaac W. Morris 1770-1831 Parties to the Indenture were Anthony P. Morris, his wife Anna, Catharine Morris, Isaac P. Morris, and his wife Rebecca T., Martha Morris & Catherine Morris as Trustees for Susannah Morris Johnson (Caleb), the said Sarah Morris, daughter Susannah P. Johnson, Martha Morris in her own right, Isaac P. Morris and Henry Morris, Trustees for Joseph P. Morris and Sarah ... [here the information is folded underneath. What follows in a surveyors description, and mention of Cedar Grove. including "Cedar Grove Containing 26 Acres and 20 Perches of Land") and certain lots on "the North Side of High Street (Market Street) Bertween Delaware Second and Third Streets) another property "situated on Delaware Fourth Street between Chestnut and Walnut" [here paper is folded again to show signators of Witnesses, and members of the Morris family mentioned above, |
