Young rose plants in two quadrants of Rose Garden with iris in foreground and marble fountain in center. Notes: Restoration of the Rose Garden occurred in 1971 with a gift from Otto T. Mallery. Rose beds were replanted with old and new varieties and plumbing was restored to the fountain. On June 27, 1974 the Rose Garden was re-dedicated and re-named in honor of Marion W. Rivinus, the first president of the Morris Arboretum Associates.
