Date circa mid-late seventeenth century based on watermark. Scale: in "perches" Dimensions: 15 .25" x 24" Location: map drawer C in the library Mentioned on drawing: Protrected (sic) (protracted) and laid down from description by Charles de Krafft (Krasst) Swan Bankson, Benjamin Bankson, Moyamensing (sic) Road, Passyuank (sic) Road. Watermark in paper reads: Stains and in an oval cartouche is Britainia with a shield with the Cross of St. George and the royal crown at the top Condition: fair to poor, fragile; large section of right side is missing but does not interfere with drawing on sheet. Foxing, 2 separate pieces joined together Tag: on obtuse, on reverse |
