Silver Note Pad ca 1900 - A sterling silver notepad holder with original paper pad intact (and notes possibly from Lydia) secured with pins to a floral chased and engraved frame. The item is marked number 2811E and also monogrammed in the center of the front of the frame with "LTM". One pin is original and one is replaced. A chain and mounting cap for a pencil are attached and there are two hooks on the top of the frame to hold the pencil. The reverse is a hinged easel device which allows the pad to stand.

Silver Pencil Holder ca 1915 - A sterling silver pencil holder marked J.E. Caldwell & Co. 440. An open work cylinder soldered to a silver pattern, possibly custom assembled. The open work tube is bisected at the top by a silver band thus dividing the cylinder into two sections. The cylinder is numbered 102. The pattern has a beaded edge and chased and engraved decoration with the monogram "LMT". Weight is 1.92 troy oz.
