Title Haviland Platter or Serving Tray 18" ca 1887
Description Large white gilt Haviland china serving platter or serving tray 18" long. Quantity 1.
Platter is covered with embossed gold birch leaves and rimmed with gold border. 18 inches long by 12 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches high.

Bone china matches Lydia's luncheon china set that was made by Haviland in Limoges, France for J. E. Caldwell of Philadelphia around 1887.

Haviland maker's mark similiar to one used in 1887, according to website (http://www.havilandonline.com/backmark.htm)
