    Gojuno-to Pagoda. An ornate, three-tier stone pagoda lantern with miniature slat fences circling each tier. The finial is also quite ornate, unlike typical stacked-ring finials. It stands on a grassy knoll in the Japanese Hill Garden. Mature Japanese pine towers over pagoda. Azaleas in bloom below the pagoda. Note: Y Muto of Tokyo designed the Hill Garden in 1905. The garden was created with fill after the swan lake was excavated.
